Makes You Think
It's really nice experiencing a deep story that just makes you think.
I saw Lawrence of Arabia for the first time the other day. I haven't been able to get it out of my mind since. Not like an obsession or anything, but just... considering things. The way Lawrence as a person changed throughout the movie, the events he went through, the ways he chose to react to them. They just make for some kinda sticky thoughts, if you know what I mean.
I don't think I'll ever write a review or anything, though I do feel like Lawrence of Arabia is one of the greatest movies ever made. I absolutely love when I see a movie, read a book, etc, that makes me want to just sit and think. So much of the internet as we experience it is just thoughtless entertainment, thoughtless news, thoughtless work. Nothing wrong with wanting to NOT think now and then, but it's so easy for that to be everything.
Go watch something thought-provoking and refresh your mind. Come on in, the water's fine.
